Ah, the Dark Night of the Soul. It happens to the best of us. When I had mine, at 4 o’clock in the morning, I decided to capitalize on the situation and, in lieu of despair, write down what I was feeling. What emerged was a rock ‘n roll power ballad that employs a little trick to keep it playing in your head after it’s over. See if you can guess what it is.
By the way, this song demands a BIG voice and a BIG orchestration. For now, listeners will have to settle for me. Still, you’ll get a pretty good idea of what it could be!
